Tamra is a creative strategist specializing in learner-centric instructional design, with a focus on neurodiversity. Tamra has created and overhauled several education programs – including fully accredited schools; spearheaded projects such as the Empowerment Community for trauma recovery; and has overseen the instructional design process for projects through Open Path Studio.
Tamra’s current focus areas are philosophy of perception, neurodiversity advocacy, and professional development for educators – including parents who are homeschooling or supplementing their children’s education. She is honored to serve as a general education and faculty development director for a medical academy that endeavors to meet the growing need for healthcare workers, with an increasing focus on rural areas.
In addition to the above, personal interests include ecocritism, animal welfare (especially ferrets), learning to actually use the arts and crafts supplies instead of just collecting them, and being a Nana.
